Bruce A. Wright
Bruce A. Wright is an Operating Advisor at AFI Partners, providing operational and financial management support to AFI Partners portfolio companies. Mr. Wright has over 40 years of experience in acquisitions, divestitures and turnarounds in the industrial sector. After retiring in 1996, he has spent the past eleven years restructuring distressed businesses. Mr. Wright presently serves on the board of directors of NutraMax Products, Inc. ("NutraMax". From 2001 to 2006, he served on the board of International Knife and Saw, Inc. ("IKS"), Simonds International Inc. ("Simonds") and ContinentalAFA Dispensing Company ("ContinentalAFA"), and served on the audit committees of the four companies. He has also served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of NutraMax, Chief Executive Officer of ContinentalAFA and Chief Operating Officer of IKS. The Principals worked with Mr. Wright as a team during their successful turnaround and sale of both IKS and Simonds. Prior to 1996, Mr. Wright was Senior Vice President of Welbilt Corporation ("Welbilt"), where he was responsible for developing and implementing worldwide manufacturing strategies and corporate acquisitions. He was credited with the turnaround of Welbilt which resulted in a successful IPO and sale of the company. Before joining Welbilt in 1987, Mr. Wright held several management positions with Hobart Corp. where he served as director of manufacturing with responsibility for 17 manufacturing facilities during his tenure. From 1964 to 1976, Mr. Wright was employed by Ford Motor Corp. where he held various manufacturing positions. Mr. Wright was educated at Ball State and Earlham Colleges.
