Nicholas P. Matich is an Operating Advisor at AFI Partners, providing operational and financial management support to AFI Partners portfolio companies. Mr. Matich has over 40 years of industrial and automotive experience. Mr. Matich is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Mubea Inc. and was appointed to this position in June 2006. Prior to Mubea, Mr. Matich was a senior executive with Navistar International Corporation ("Navistar") for approximately five years, serving two years as Vice President of Operations responsible for the commercial truck product development, product engineering, manufacturing, quality and purchasing and logistics, and three years as the Vice President and General Manager of the Severe Service Truck Group. Mr. Matich started his career and spent 34 years with General Motors Corporation in numerous operational roles including Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Labor Relations, Manufacturing Planning and Plant Management in engine and vehicle assembly at various locations. In Mr. Matich's last five years at General Motors he was Executive-in-Charge for the Production Control and Logistics for General Motors North American Operations with global coordination leadership responsibility. Mr. Matich earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University, formerly General Motors Institute, a Master's of Business from Central Michigan University and a Master's of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
